YOUR SUPPORT AT WORK
What Your Gift Helps Preserve.

SURVIVOR TESTIMONY
Preserving Living Memory
Thousands of survivor testimonies have been recorded, yet many remain largely unexamined in archives. Support helps us return to these voices, identify the people, places and events they describe, and recover historical knowledge that may otherwise remain unheard.

ARCHIVAL RESEARCH
Recovering What Survives
Gifts help support the search for photographs, documents, records and other evidence scattered across archives and private collections.

FIELD RESEARCH
Documenting Historic Places
Support helps make it possible to record mass-grave sites, cemeteries, former Jewish communities and other places where physical evidence still survives.

FILM & EDUCATION
Carrying the History Forward
Contributions support documentary films, educational resources and public presentations that bring this research to wider audiences.
WHY GIVE
Historical Evidence Does Not Preserve Itself.
The surviving record of the Holocaust and Lithuanian Jewish history is finite. Witnesses are disappearing, physical sites continue to change, documents remain scattered across institutions and families, and important testimony can sit unheard in archives for decades.
Research is often what turns preservation into understanding. A recorded interview becomes far more valuable when the people, places and events within it are identified. A photograph gains meaning when a name is restored. A document found in one archive can unlock evidence preserved somewhere else.
Support makes it possible to pursue those connections—to travel where the evidence survives, obtain and study archival material, document historical sites, preserve discoveries and bring the resulting history into films, education and public understanding.
Every recovered name, testimony, photograph and place strengthens a historical record that becomes more difficult to reconstruct with each passing generation.
