1. About the Gens Family Project
The Gens Family Project (“we,” “our,” or “the Project”) is a nonprofit organization organized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and based in the State of Connecticut, United States. Our mission is to preserve, research, and share Jewish family histories, Holocaust-era documentation, survivor testimony, and related educational materials with integrity, accuracy, and respect for victims, survivors, and their descendants.

2. Educational and Historical Purpose
All content on this website is provided for educational, historical, commemorative, and research purposes. While we strive for accuracy and scholarly rigor, historical research is inherently evolving. 3. Sensitive and Emotional Content

b. Strict Reuse Limits

Users may voluntarily submit stories, photographs, documents, or other materials (“Submissions”).

You grant the Gens Family Project a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free license to use submitted materials for educational, archival, exhibition, publication, and film purposes consistent with our mission.
We will handle submissions with care and respect, but cannot guarantee publication or use.
7. Donations
Donations made through this website are processed via PayPal. The Gens Family Project does not store payment information.
Donations support historical research, preservation, education, and commemoration. Donors may designate funds toward specific projects, but all contributions are ultimately used in furtherance of our charitable mission.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Gens Family Project is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from use of this website or reliance on its content. All materials are provided “as is.”
